SEPTA - (215) 580-7800 (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) has a variety of options including subway, trolley and bus service throughout the city and area. The Market-Frankford elevated subway line heading toward 69th Street Terminal (west) stops in front of the Museum at 5th and Market streets. The line heading toward the Frankford Transportation Center (east) stops at 5th and Market streets, on the other side of the street of the Museum.
PHLASH - May 1 through October 31 the Phlash Downtown Visitor Shuttle provides direct service between Penn's Landing, Center City, and the Museum. Operated several months out of the year by the Philadelphia Trolley Works, the Phlash uses distinctive purple trolleys and runs every twelve minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

PATCO - (856) 772-6900 or (215) 922-4600 High Speed Line (Port Authority Transit Corporation). The Speed Line travels from South Jersey into Center City Philadelphia. PATCO has four Center City stops, the closest to the Museum being at 8th and Market Streets.
Amtrak - 1-800-USA-RAILprovides service to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station at 30th and Market Streets. Visitors can connect with the Market-Frankford Line at 30th Street Station.
Parking
The Bourse Garage, a block from the Museum, is open 24 hours a day and offers $8 four-hour parking with NMAJH validation until March 31st, 2012.
Entrance is between Market and Chestnut on Fourth Street. Maximum height clearance for vehicles is 6' 4".
