Camp Visits

The National Museum of American Jewish History's Education Department welcomes campers of all ages and backgrounds for next summer. Groups of up to 100 can be accommodated for a facilitated experience.

Below are a selection of activities being offered that involve the core exhibition and Only in America® Gallery/Hall of Fame.  The core exhibition is an exploration of American Jewish History 1654 to the Present, divided chronologically:

Floor 4:  Foundations of Freedom 1654 to 1880
Floor 3:  Dreams of Freedom 1880-1945
Floor 2:  Choices and Challenges of Freedom 1945-Present
Floor 1:  Only in America® Gallery/Hall of Fame

Feel free to download and pass out the activities in advance. For groups larger than 30, it is suggested that campers begin on different floors to avoid congestion.

Docents will be available for each facilitated visit to help campers and counselors with the activities and answer questions about the exhibition.

On average, visits of two hours are expected. Kosher lunches can be provided.

To schedule a visit or inquire about pricing, please phone an Education Specialist at 215-923-3811 ext. 123.
