The Museum was proud to recently welcome soldiers from the U.S. Army’s Walson Army Medical Support Element from Fort Dix, N.J. The trip was organized by Captain Warren Gross (top row, left) who recently donated objects to the Museum from the military service of his father, Sergeant Alfred Gross. Among the objects he donated are his father’s uniform, worn in Burma, China and India during World War II, dog tags and medals, and a phonograph letter Sergeant Gross made at a USO club operated by the Jewish Welfare Board (pictured below).
