Happy New Year, Beni! Happy New Year to Beni's Grandma and Grandpa too! Happy New Year to Max, Beni's cousin. We say "I'm sorry for what I did wrong." We love all the bears. Happy Holiday! Lots of us went to our grandparents' houses or friends houses for Rosh Hashanah this year. I played with Grandma's bike and with my tool kit. We wrote letters to our friends to wish them a happy new year. We wish YOU a happy new year!!!

I really like Rosh Hashanah and I really like this book because it's about Rosh Hashanah. I like Rosh Hashanah because we dip apples in honey. Rosh Hashanah is good. We throw bread into the water and we say "Sorry" to G-d. I like when they blessed the round challah. I like when Beni got the brand new job of blessing the challah. I like when they blessed the kiddush cup too.

This picture is really pretty. The story is cool (Happy New Year, Beni). It's a great book. We like the book. The book has lots of details, like candles on the table. It was a Jewish story. It makes me want to eat challah and apples dipped in honey. I can see the food was good. The author that wrote the book was really good. The illustrator is really good at drawing pictures and the pictures are really nice. It is a short book. It makes me want to drink wine (for kiddush). Some of us think it was long and others think it was short. It makes me happy. We like when Beni and Max were laughing at the end of the story. I like when they were kissing. They apologized to each other. The pictures are beautiful. I like the story so much. The story was nice and kind.It had lots of characters in it. They invited all their cousins and aunts and uncles. There are a lot of words in this book. The bears are really nice. The pictures are cute.

Look at how beautiful and bright the candles are burning. The delicious-looking food reminds me of wonderful holiday dinners with my own loving family. I wish I were there to participate in another happy event.

Hurrah! Hurrah! Beni is celebrating Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, with his family. Grandpa is blessing the wine and Beni has the special job of blessing the challah (bread). I also celebrate Rosh Hashana with my family. I can tell you how wonderful it is to celebrate a brand new Jewish year.
