Also known as the Madison Avenue
Temple, Reform congregation Anshe Chesed used this second synagogue from
September 19, 1902, to March 1974. It is currently a home for mentally disabled
adults. Now known as Chesed Temple, the congregation's current synagogue
is located on Knox Street in Scranton.
