Each year, the National Museum of American Jewish History uses this occasion to honor the Only in America stories of Jews who have made their homes in this country. On November 18, more than 350 of our most generous donors will gather as a community and connect to the stories of hope and courage, leadership and service, imagination and tradition that the Museum exists to tell. This year, we will reflect on the successes of the last five years in our historic Market Street home and celebrate the next generation of leaders at the Museum.
Gala Chairs: Gennifer and Elijah Dornstreich
The Roaring Twenties, the National Museum of American Jewish History’s 2014 Only in America Gala, took place November 20th on the Museum’s beautiful 5th floor terrace overlooking Independence Mall.
Guests danced the Charleston, listened to the beautiful sounds of Grammy-nominated jazz singer Margot B., from Boardwalk Empire, and spent a fun-filled evening in support of the Museum’s mission to connect Jews more closely to their heritage and to inspire in people of all backgrounds a greater appreciation for the diversity of the American Jewish experience and the freedoms to which Americans aspire.
