The Museum is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on the corner of Fifth and Market Streets,
across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell.

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm*
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am - 5:30pm
* From Memorial through Labor Days, the Museum stays open until 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings. Admission
after 5:00 is pay-what-you-wish.
NMAJH is closed most Mondays, including Federal holidays, but we are open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day,
Presidents' Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.
In addition to most Mondays, we are closed on the following holidays:
Passover (first day) - April 23, 2016
Rosh HaShanah (first day) - October 3, 2016
Yom Kippur - October 12, 2016
Thanksgiving Day - November 24, 2016
New Year’s Day - January 1, 2017
The Museum also closes early (at 3:00pm) on the following holiday eves:

Erev Rosh HaShanah - October 2, 2016
Erev Yom Kippur - October 11, 2016
Christmas Eve - December 24, 2016
NMAJH is open on all other Jewish holidays (except if they happen to fall on a Monday).
