Of course, for parties of 15 or more. Just be sure to reserve in advance through our Group Services office, to take advantage of discounted admission prices and other group options.


*As a  proud Blue Star Museum, we additionally offer free admission to up to 5 immediate family members (spouse or children) of active military personnel from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hours and Admission

The Museum is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on the corner of Fifth and Market Streets, across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell. (No coincidence.)

Tuesday to Friday:       10:00am - 5:00pm*
Saturday and Sunday:  10:00am - 5:30pm

* From May 7 - October 29, throughout the run of Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American, the Museum will stay open until 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings. Admission after 5:00 is pay-what-you-wish.

NMAJH is closed most Mondays, including Federal holidays, but we are open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS (Sorry, darling)

In addition to most Mondays, we are closed on the following holidays:

        New Year’s Day - January 1, 2015
        Passover (first day) - April 4, 2015
        Rosh Hashanah - September 25 & 26, 2014
        Yom Kippur - October 4, 2014
        Thanksgiving Day - November 27, 2014

The Museum also closes early (at 3:00pm) on the following holiday eves:

        Erev Rosh Hashanah - September 24, 2014
        Erev Yom Kippur - October 3, 2014
        Christmas Eve - December 24, 2014
        Erev Passover - April 3, 2015  

NMAJH is open on all other Jewish holidays (except if they happen to fall on a Monday). All special holiday openings are listed above.
