The Museum is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on the corner of Fifth and Market Streets, across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell. (No coincidence.)

NMAJH is closed most Mondays, including Federal holidays.
*Beginning on May 7, the Museum will stay open until 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings, throughout the run of Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American.
We are open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.
We hate to turn anyone away (especially you, bubbellah*) but ticket sales and museum entrance cease 30 minutes before closing time. *sweetheart

The Museum also closes early (at 3 pm) on the following holiday eves:

Erev Yom Kippur - October 3, 2014
Christmas Eve - December 24, 2014
NMAJH is open on all other Jewish holidays (except if they happen to fall on a Monday). All special holiday openings are listed above.
