The Museum is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on the corner of Fifth and Market Streets, across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell. (No coincidence.)

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm*
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am - 5:30pm
* Through the end of October (several days beyond the closing of Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American), the Museum will stay open until 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings. Admission after 5:00 is pay-what-you-wish.
NMAJH is closed most Mondays, including Federal holidays, but we are open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.

NMAJH is open on all other Jewish holidays (except if they happen to fall on a Monday). All special holiday openings are listed above.
