Voting is now open for the next inductees into our Museum’s Ed Snider Only in America® Gallery/Hall of Fame, which recognizes outstanding Jewish Americans. Help us select our next inductees by voting in each of the categories below.
Inspired by this year’s JAHM theme of supporting one another in the face of adversity, the accomplishments of this year’s finalists reflect their heritage, traditions, and values, and embody the ancient Rabbi Hillel’s famous quote, “If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?”
“Hometown Hero” finalists were nominated by the public for being everyday citizens who made a significant positive community impact during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our new Hometown Hero will be invited to participate in our annual Only in America® induction ceremony this fall, and will receive half of the donations received throughout the nomination and voting process to honor their work in the community.
We also looked to the JAHM theme, our collection, American Jewish history, and current events to select eight living and deceased high profile Jewish American candidates who have made extraordinary contributions to our country and in some cases, the world.
You can vote for as many finalists as you like within each category once every 12 hours, with voting closing on June 21st. Spread the word!
